Our Story

green and lyme

Mark your planner in any color, and doodle in the margins.  Green & Lyme planners are ideal for anyone who wants to better organize their life so they can stop letting distractions get in the way.

Thumb through the pages later and you see your daughter’s scribbles from that day she got ahold of it while you were cooking dinner.

You see, your planner is not only a tool to organize your busy life, but it also tells your story. The blank pages call out to be filled with life, activities, and little notes and doodles that express your thoughts.

My planners contain the story of my life. They highlight high school and college graduations, a move across the country to California alone in search of something I didn’t quite understand at the time. My planners tell of my first date with my husband and now they have a record of all our daughter’s firsts.

Planners don't just highlight the big events. They are also keepers of the mundane day-to-day tasks. They are a record of my history and I want your planners to become a part of your history as well.

I pour my heart into the design and creation of everything I make. Green & Lyme is my dream. My ultimate goal is to create the best quality products so you can save them for years to come and remember all those little things that make your life fun and beautiful.

who is green and lyme

A little about me:

I grew up in the midwest in an old white house on the corner of Green & Lyme Street.

I had lemonade stands in the summers and went door-to-door selling items that I could convert into money. I've wanted my own business for as long as I can remember.

While most kids were in the toy aisle I was in the office supply aisle hoarding paper, pens, and planners.

And now, with Green & Lyme my childhood love has come full circle as I share my passion for planners and documenting life with you.

8 Things You Probably Don’t Know

  1. I’m a night owl. My best ideas come to me when the house is quiet.
  2. When I have free time you can find me with my toes in the sand. I love the beach (and dislike snow) so much that I moved from Ohio to California when I was 20.
  3. I live on coffee. Lots of coffee.
  4. I graduated from college with a degree in psychology. (Go Gauchos!) I specialized in child development and special education, specifically children on the autism spectrum.
  5. After college, I began creating wedding invitations as a hobby and it quickly grew into a business called Sugarletter. I stopped creating invitations in 2013 when I was pregnant with my daughter.
  6. I am passionate about bringing people together. It seems like in everything I do I somehow find a way to connect people to one another. Over the years I've created a forum for wedding professionals to collaborate, founded a very active local moms group which at its height had 300+ members, and now Planner Social, which helps planner and stationery lovers find local planner related events and shops. These groups have always been free services because I truly want to help people connect.
  7. Growing up I kept pretty mailed advertisements and invitations in a shoebox in my bedroom closet. My love for paper started really young. (Weird, I know.)
  8. I was probably the only kid at school who was excited when we got our spiral homework planners on the first day of school.
